What the hell happened? At first I was going to say it looks like her arms are on backwards but then it looks like someone put her hands one to her backwards arms backwards, and also her head. And also WHAT THE HELL?

This image is SO wrong!!! the use photoshop is excessive and terrible….
Sometimes you wonder what justified this sort of disastrous manipulation. Im pretty she used to be a fine looking model before you turned her into radioactive mutant with oddly shapped head, weird arms, and super small waist.
Seriously, the female body is perfect as it is, this is an atrocious picture. Have you even looked at what a human looks like?
okay… as a photographer and regular user of photoshop, i understand, we have all been there. you’re just so attached to the image, you had big dreams for it. times square billboards, milan, the whole deal, you and this image were going places. but, it wasn’t perfect… so a little clone, a tiny blur… but it’s still wrong… suddenly it’s 18 hours later and you’re staring unblinkingly at the computer monitor, just throwing airbrushes and liquefy tools all over, muttering *not done… not done…* you’re so far in you can’t even proofread “beauty” with a built-in spellchecker. i know, it does happen…
but…
most of us take a nap, maybe have a cup of tea, and look over the result again BEFORE posting it online. we all have skeletons (pun totally intended) in our photoshop closets, but we don’t make them public. And remember, the first step is to admit you have a problem.
As a photographer, i feel offended. Just thinking that someone could take one of my photos and turn it into something like this just because they think it looks good or will sell, makes me want to break my equipment against their heads.
As a retoucher, i feel even more offended… to know (this photo is the evidence) that there are people hired to do retouching, that had no idea, and that follow every single tutorial from photoshop cafe and apply then into one single image (skin smoothing, liquify, blur, liquify, cut and past, liquify, and of course, one it all was done… more liquify), it makes me want to crash my macbook pro, my wacom tablet, my cintiq, and all the books, dvd, and hours i spend trying to learn (i definitely didn’t learned anything, my images still look like humans after i retouch them…bummer) against their heads…
And as a human… i feel ashamed, that someone has this idea of beuty… maybe a freudian complex, a fat evil mother, or maybe just a human size evil mother… or i guess the right answer is a sweet loving human size mother, and because of that, a uncontrollable need to turn every woman in the world into a monster, because they either look like their mothers, or they want them to look like them.
This is simply awful. There should be an international law for the respect of women!
